My last post left you with the visit to Los Gatos, to Vital Health Institute, where I was examined by Dr. Cook and a preliminary surgical plan was put together. I knew I would come home to more phone calls to try to keep my case moving.
What I uncovered upon my return was that the next step after this evaluation was for the current Kaiser Gyn Surgeon and the Vital Health Gyn Surgeon to speak on the phone. Once this was done, IF the Kaiser Gyn agreed, then the referral would be sent on to his supervisor over the Gyn department. IF that was approved, then the referral would be complete. I was even informed that this could possibly be done in one day. This sounded so easy?!
Well, easy was not the right word. Actually getting two busy Gyn Surgeons to speak on the phone at the same moment to each other has proven to be quite a challenge. After many calls and emails to both Medical facilities to keep the attention and focus on my need, over the last week, the Doctors were finally able to decide on a time to have a conference call today.

Please be praying for a miracle: For the surgery to be approved by Kaiser. The Phone conference will happen on WED. FEB 12 at 11:30AM.
I have been struggling since last week with still increasing pain that is leaving me either too medicated to be social or in too much pain to be social. Forgive my distance. I have a difficult time focusing and thinking clearly right now.
